Patient FAQs
Appointments with your dietitian are approximately 50 minutes, and most patients meet with their dietitian once a month. You should expect to meet with your dietitian 6 times to see the best results. Your dietitian will work with you to schedule appointments that are convenient for you and aligned with your insurance coverage.
If your appointment is scheduled via Zoom, you will receive a Zoom link in your email a few days before your appointment. If your appointment is scheduled via telephone, your dietitian will call you from the practice. If you have any issues connecting at the time of your appointment, you may call or text us at (615) 823-4817.
You'll receive a link from MyNutritionRx to sign up for Healthie, our patient portal. You may access Healthie from your browser at www.gethealthie.com or by downloading the Healthie app from the app store on your phone.
You may have questions for your dietitian about your goals or the resources they've provided. You may use the Chat feature on Healthie to communicate with your dietitian between appointments. Please note that the dietitians may not always be able to respond within 24 hours, and you should call 911 if you are experiencing a medical emergency.
Please call (615) 823-4817 to make any changes to appointments. We kindly ask that you provide us with as much advance notice as possible if you need to reschedule your appointment. Any no-shows or cancellations made less than 1 business day in advance may result in a fee.
For questions about a bill you've received, please call your doctors office. For questions about your insurance coverage, we recommend calling the phone number on the back of your insurance card and asking about your nutrition counseling benefits.
